Storage Policy
Linkyhost stores your files in Google Cloud Storage and serves them from
your links. Understanding our storage policies will help you make the most
of our platform.
Storage Allocation
Free accounts: 1 upload, up to 10MB
Pro accounts ($12/mo or $60/yr): unlimited uploads, up to 100MB each
Enterprise accounts ($38/mo or $199/yr): unlimited uploads, up to 500MB
each, plus team workspaces
A fair-use ceiling of 2,000 hosted files applies to every account
File Retention
Files remain stored and your links stay live as long as your account is
active
Deleting a link removes its files from storage immediately — there is no
trash or undo, so download anything you need first
Replacing a file behind a link (Pro) overwrites the previous version;
earlier versions are not retained
Deleting your account removes all of your personal files and links
immediately
Form submissions follow their own retention setting (7, 30, 90, or 365
days) and are deleted automatically when it lapses
Content Guidelines
No illegal or copyright-infringing material
No malware, phishing, or harmful executables
All content must comply with our Terms of Service
Every upload is scanned automatically before it goes live, and we operate
an active abuse-response process
Where Your Files Live
Files are stored in Google Cloud Storage and encrypted at rest (AES-256)
All transfers happen over TLS
Hosted pages are served through our production infrastructure on Vercel
Optional password protection is available for sensitive files (Pro)
Team Storage (Enterprise)
Team workspaces share links, folders, and domains among members
If a member leaves the team, links they created stay with the team
If a team is deleted, its links revert to the members who created them —
content is never destroyed by dissolving a team
