Pricing and billing
| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 |
| Pro | $12/month | $60/year |
| Business | From $60/month | From $300/year |
Business includes five seats, including the owner. Each seat costs the same as an individual Pro plan: $12/month or $60/year. Additional seats are charged at that same rate. Business purchases, upgrades, and additional seats are handled through support@linkyhost.com. Paid subscribers can review their current plan and renewal information in the dashboard's Subscription section and open the Stripe billing portal when available.
Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid period, so paid access continues until the displayed end date. An eligible customer can make a one-time self-service refund request within seven days of the most recent eligible charge. The dashboard reports whether the request is still within that window.
Links created under a paid entitlement may become inactive after that entitlement ends. Review Storage and Retention and keep source-file backups before cancelling.
Hosting and publishing
Every accepted upload receives an HTTPS URL. The standard uploader supports:
- PDF and DOCX documents;
- HTML, TXT, and plain-text CSV files;
- JPG/JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP images; and
- ZIP archives that contain a deployable static website on Pro.
Free can host one standalone HTML document, but active content and external-resource behavior are constrained. Pro can host JavaScript-driven standalone pages and multi-file website builds. Linkyhost does not run server-side application code, install dependencies, or provide a database runtime. See Website Hosting.
Link management
Each link has a management page in the dashboard. Depending on the content and plan, it can provide:
| Control | Availability | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Path segment | All plans | Sets the path used when the link is attached to a custom domain |
| Password | Pro, PDF/HTML | Requires visitors to unlock the link before content loads |
| Replace file | Pro, supported single files | Keeps the URL, analytics, and domain settings while changing the file |
| Hide banner | Pro | Removes the visitor-facing “Powered by Linkyhost” treatment |
| Prevent download/print | Pro, PDF | Uses a restricted viewer; it cannot prevent screenshots |
| Auto-expiry | Pro | Takes the link offline at a future time, up to one year away |
| Folder | Pro | Organizes links inside the same personal or team workspace |
Read Manage Links before replacing or deleting content; both actions are permanent and there is no version history or trash restore.
Analytics
Pro and Business can see total views, estimated visitors, recent views, a views-over-time chart, referrers, countries, browsers, and device categories when those signals are available. Free links still collect visits, but analytics and the Analytics dashboard action are hidden until the workspace upgrades. Available history can then be viewed. CSV export is exclusive to Business.
Analytics are directional rather than an identity system: direct traffic, privacy controls, network sharing, and automated requests can affect the numbers. See Analytics.
Custom domains and presentation
Pro and Business can connect domains they control, attach multiple links at separate paths, set one link as the root, and optionally enable per-file wildcard subdomains. A connected domain can also have a custom browser-tab title and favicon.
DNS ownership and routing must be verified before a domain works. Follow Custom Domains rather than guessing the required records.
Teams and API access
Business owners can create a shared team workspace, invite members or admins, and use the owner's Business entitlement for resources created in that workspace. New teams start with five seats including the owner. See Teams.
Business also provides API keys for the read-only GET /api/v1/links endpoint and CSV analytics export. The endpoint returns links authored by the key owner, including that person's own team-workspace links, but it cannot list links authored by other team members. See API Reference.
Feature access for a team link follows the team owner's current plan, not the personal plan of the member who uploaded it.
