What data is collected when someone views my PDF?
We collect the view timestamp, approximate geographic location (country), device type, browser type, and referrer URL. No personal information is collected from viewers.
Are the analytics updated in real time?
Yes. Pro and Business show view data in your dashboard within seconds of someone opening your PDF link. Refresh at any time for the latest data.
Is PDF tracking compliant with privacy laws like GDPR?
Yes. We only collect anonymous, aggregated data. No personal information or cookies are used to track viewers. Location data is approximate and cannot identify individuals.
What are the limits on the free tier?
Free includes 1 upload up to 10MB. Views are still recorded, but viewing analytics requires Pro or Business. Pro ($12/mo or $60/yr) includes analytics and unlimited PDFs up to 100MB each. CSV analytics export requires Business.
Can I get notified when someone views my PDF?
Notification support is available on the Pro plan. Opt in to email notifications for each view or receive a daily summary digest.
